The Colorado Trail: Saguache Park Road to Eddiesville Trailhead Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The CT follows a jeep/ranch road through arid cattle-grazing country until reaching Cochetopa Creek, the only reliable water source in this segment. The CT then follows the creek to the Eddiesville Trailhead. Hikers no longer have to ford the Cochetopa, a log bridge was added in the late summer of 2004 — a long-desired improvement for the CT."

The trail was well marked according to the trail description. The trail was actually marked better then the description. The water was very high and flowing very fast, however the CT maintence had constructed log foot bridges that were wonderful. The road in at the Eddiesville trailhead was very accessible. Thanks, for asking, Sandra Moore
