North Cochetopa Pass Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Near the center of the state, there’s a stretch of quiet highway most Colorado cyclists have never heard of. To your average Front Range weekend warrior, State Route 114 is merely an obscure line on a map, a lightly traveled road connecting the tiny town of Saguache with US Highway 50.
In between are a handful of ranches, a couple campgrounds, a few dirt road turnoffs, and not much else. Unless you live in the area (few people do), it's unlikely you'd end up here. There are quicker ways to get around this part of Colorado. Of course, that's the allure of this ride--silence, solitude, natural beauty, and the chance to pedal to the summit of 10,135-foot North Cochetopa Pass."
