Rifle Falls State Park Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Try this one on for size: Colorado's favorite year-round waterfall was created from limestone buildup behind an ancient beaver dam, and these are the cliffs we see today. The falls became a 19th-century tourist attraction and were then used as the impetus for Colorado's first hydroelectric plant.

All of the sites have been renovated and are more appealing than ever. Each campsite is completely separated from the rest; the father down the path, the more separated the sites become."
