Raven's Roost Trail Professional Reviews and Guides

"The roost is a high-rocky point near the top of a forested mountainside, overlooking a steep, wooded draw. Raven, eagle, hawk or human, the views and exposure of the Roost (not to mention the steep climb up to it) invite you to rest a spell. The draw below is narrow and moist, and the trail crosses the seasonal stream time and time again as it descends, as though oxen had indeed picked the route."

Good trail I felt it was a little harder than easy but I’m older. I did see a dead burnt horse on trail, disturbing.

Oxen Draw trail(on date of hike) was covered in ice and snow. The hike was still enjoyable and the snow made for some good photos. Raven's Roost offers a really great overlook point at about its midpoint.
