Lake Fork of the Conejos River Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"The Lake Fork of the Conejos River is a tumbling little stream, crisscrossed by fallen timber, with plenty of pools and pocket water.
Catch and keep your limit of brook, brown, and rainbow trout to protect the Rio Grande cutthroat trout in this stream. This is classic dry-fly, small-stream water so stick with the standards like medium-size Adams, Stimulators, and elk hair caddis or small, brightly colored spinners. Only flies and lures may be used. All cutthroat trout must be returned immediately to the water. A four-fish-per-day bag limit applies to other species."
