South Platte Canyon Road is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Jefferson County and Douglas County, Colorado. It is within Pike National Forest. It is 4.2 miles long and begins at 5,502 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 8.4 miles with a total elevation gain of 376 feet. The Mule Deer picnic site is near the trailhead. Great Blue Heron and another picnic site can be seen along the trail. There are also an information board, restrooms, and an industrial along the trail.
