Seven Bridges Trail Professional Reviews and Guides

"The technical difficulty of this trail is the main highlight. After the bridges, the route heads away from the creek and into a peaceful forest setting. Actually, the setting doesn’t change. But you can pay attention to the surroundings more after you pass the bridges. This is the shortest route to reach the upper end of Jones’s Downhill. Tread: 3.9 miles of singletrack that ranges from packed dirt to loose gravel. If you get off the main route at mile 1.7 you’ll experience loose gravel like you’ve never experienced before! It’s not a good thing. Pay attention and stay on route."

I personally won't do it again. Much too much carrying my bike + swamped with hikers. Scenery is great and it would make for a great family hike with all the bridges and close to the river. The bridges aren't what make this a technical challenge - it's the ridiculous rocky climbs followed by unridable skree canyon. I was on the trail for more than an hour and probably saw 100 hikers and not a single biker. It was a perfect Saturday - 70's and dry. So, I guess other MTB'ers have come to the same conclusion I did. Right next door, Capt Jacks was full of bikers. MIGHT be worth it to hook into pipeline or jones park.
