This drive was very nice. It definitely kept you on edge and alert because there are many very steep drop offs at the roadside. At the top there is a little nice hiking area next to the parking lot and visitor’s "castle." The air is very thin up here and I developed a headache rather quickly. Mountain goats and bighorn sheep were seen just "chilling" on the road. Worth the trip just to say that you drove on the highest road in the U.S.!
