Independence Trail

Independence Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Trail has been carved out of a narrow, rocky canyon for the specific purpose of challenging ultimate 4x4 rigs. Difficult enough for competitive rock-crawling events. Hot in summer. Watch for rattlesnakes. Camp at existing fire rings. Pack out all trash. Bring own firewood. If you stack rocks, remove them afterwards. ATVs and dirt bikes can ride on designated roads above the canyon, but canyon itself is too difficult. When you see this trail, it is hard to believe that any kind of vehicle can get through it. Tall rock walls and giant boulders are the norm. Expect rollovers and vehicle damage. Heavy-duty roll cage and giant tires a must. Scout trail first. Winch anchor points are provided. Trail is dangerous. (Note: Author did not drive this trail.)"
