This is one of my "go to" hikes when visitors come to town. It is an easy walk to an interesting site - the fissures are dramatic. Be careful with younger children, so they don't fall in! The last time we went, there were some trees that had fallen across the trail, but they were easy to get over. I also recommend going a bit farther past the fissures for a great overlook view of the Piedra River valley. Again, watch the little ones!
