Lone Cone Professional Review and Guide

"Lone Cone beckons like an oracle. This remote, stand-alone mountain is the last high peak in western Colorado, signaling an end of the mountains and the start of the desert."

The trail is described as moderate but I found it to be more difficult. It's very rocky and if you're not careful it's easy to trip over because of loose rocks. It's also not heavily traveled by other hikers so if you go I'd definitely say bring a friend. As tough as it is, I still say it's worth it to tackle it. The 360 degree views from the summit are just incredible.
