Rock Creek Trail Professional Review and Guide
"Walking Rock Creek Farm is like being in Colorado 150 years ago. This open space embodies the tranquility of the open prairie before settlement and urbanization. Rock Creek Farm lies at the easternmost edge of the Boulder County Open Space, across U.S. 287 from booming Broomfield County. Yet once you’re a few hundred yards into the walk, you’re alone. To the west, the Rockies rise into the dome of the sky, and the vistas are wide and unobstructed. After leashing your dog, find the trailhead on the southeast side of the parking lot. Proceed through the gate onto a wide, flat trail that circles Stearn Lake."
