"This is one of the best short rides in the Grand Junction area. Steep canyons, dry riverbeds, and volcanic rocks are just a few of the highlights you will encounter on this ride.

The singletrack section wanders through a lunar landscape that will leave you with an unforgettable mountain bike experience. This trail is located 2 miles southwest of Grand Junction. Tread: 3.2 miles on singletrack and 3.4 miles on doubletrack."

Fun ride. Landscape is really unusual and looks like the moon at times. The last few miles are extremely difficult which needed to be walked. Don't miss walking into and out of the cave-very cool.
