Ten Mile Peak to Peak (Tenmile Range Traverse) Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"The Tenmile Range is the prominent line of peaks extending south from I-70 to Breckenridge. While a complete traverse of the range is a fine objective, I have found that the best scrambling can be had by climbing a subset of the peaks. The route described here has the advantage of returning you to the starting point. It also takes you up the very aesthetic east ridge of Tenmile Peak, rather than climbing the somewhat tedious north ridge of Peak 1 over Royal Mountain with its confusing mess of logging trails. This route climbs Tenmile Peak (12,933 feet), Peak 3 (12,676 feet), Peak 4 (12,866 feet), and Peak 5 (12,855 feet)."
