Great short family trail with great views. My wife and I took our toddler in a B.O.B. Stroller and were able to get it around the trail with little issue. There's also a dog park that shares the same parking lot but is separate from the trail.

The Surrey Ridge exit is no more. Either take exit 192 or 188 then the frontage road on the west side of I-25. The dog park is nice, water available but no shade. But since you don't want to sit around that works out. The trail itself is easy, hard pack with the occasional rock. Ridiculously easy to follow. It is close enough to Denver that you can see development to the North and West, but the views to the South and East are just rolling plains.
