Colorado Trail Segment 11

Colorado Trail (Segment 11) is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Lake County, Colorado. It is within San Isabel National Forest. It is 18.7 miles long and begins at 9,250 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 4.6 miles with a total elevation gain of 942 feet. Mount Massive Trailhead and another parking and the Twin Lakes CDT/CT parking are near the trailhead. The Smith-Bullard Mine (elevation 9,285 feet) quarry can be seen along the trail. There are also restrooms, parkings, an information board, information guideposts, and wetlands along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Colorado Trail (Segment 12), County Road 25, Mt. Elbert Northeast Ridge (Standard), Colorado Trail Spur, County Road 398;Trail 396 and Continental Divide Trail 414.
