If you have a dog and want to see the vistas of rocky mtn nat. park where the animal isn't allowed this is your trial. If you have a 4x you can get up pretty close to the wilderness after June and use the time to explore the ridgeline to the west of St. Vrain peak or up into RMNP (assuming no pet) or down into Indian Peaks area.
