Snowslide Trail Professional Reviews and Guides

"Views include Pueblo Reservoir, the old Pueblo steel mill, and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain. The challenging singletrack is steep and technical as it winds up through raw and unspoiled forest. Link this trail with the Cisneros Trail for a loop with a good downhill run. Located south of Canon City near San Isabel Lake. Tread: 5.2 miles of singletrack."

A nice hike, long and rocky, but there’s a lot of different plants to see and great views. The middle point, is definitely the climax to the hike. The view from the point was amazing.

This trail was described in FatTrax and Mountain Bike Colorado books. Rated a 3 in difficulty and strenuousness. Pretty close rating. Great singletrack ride. Has switchbacks, loose rock, roots, boulders, smooth dirt, and moderate to steep climbs. It is relentlous in the climbing, with little downhill on the way out. The way back is a teeth rattling blast over the rocks, roots and boulders. This trail is a perfect Colorado singletrack.
