Slaughterhouse Gulch

Slaughterhouse Gulch Professional Review and Guide

"A fun hard-core trail close to Denver. Most of trail is entirely in the trees and not very scenic. Great area for ATVs and dirt bikes. Slow down for blind curves but be cautious of those who don’t. Watch for horseback riders and hikers. Shooting is no longer allowed in area. Narrow, tippy and rutted with washouts, rock obstacles, tree roots and steep sections. One tippy spot slides vehicle against tree when trail is wet and slippery. Not overwhelmingly difficult for a well-equipped, hard-core vehicle, but enough challenge to make it interesting. Not suitable for stock SUVs, unless you don’t mind roof and body damage."

Alright Trail, Pretty Rocky In Sections, And Decent Side Hills For Fullsize Rigs, As Well As Narrow In A Few Sections.
