Sidewinder Trail is a hiking and biking trail in Delta County and Montrose County, Colorado. It is within Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area. It is 18.5 miles long and begins at 5,277 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 37.3 miles with a total elevation gain of 9,182 feet. The North Sidewinder Trailhead parking is near the trailhead. The Messano Claims Mine (elevation 6,004 feet) quarry can be seen along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Bobcat Road, Eagle Road, Wave Road, Duncan Road, Dinosaur Road and Ute Road.
