It is within Overland Pond Park, Vanderbilt Park, Centennial Park (City of Englewood), Frog Hollow Park, Chatfield State Park, Johnson Habitat Park, and Grant - Frontier Park. It is 15.3 miles long and begins at 5,350 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 0.0 miles with a total elevation gain of 2 feet. Near the trailhead there are parkings. S Platte Park and other parkings can be seen along the trail. There are also grasses, beaches, benches, a scrub, and a shelter along the trail.
