Mount Galbraith Loop Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Despite its short distance, this trail packs a punch. It ascends continuously for the first 1.3 miles, crosses a number of rocky ledges that require careful negotiation, and cuts across steep slopes in several spots. The trail surface is generally good, but be careful not to slip.
Also, watch out for the stream crossing at the trailhead. There is no bridge at this time, and the stream can be difficult to cross during high water conditions. Grade: The trail has a nine degree average angle of ascent for the first 1.3 miles, after which the Mount Galbraith Loop Trail is much more tolerable. The trail crosses a number of rocky ledges, over which you should walk - not run."
