Great trail for hiking and biking. After only a mile or so, you come to the cabin and the lake. It is simply beautiful. Rolling green hills surround the lake and the trail leads up further into the foothills. The trail gets steeper from here and it's tough biking. But it's worth it to go another 3/4 mile past the lake to get a view of the Continental Divide. Then the trail drops back down into the forest. The thing I really enjoyed about this trail is that there are three distinct sections. The lake, the view of the Divide, and then the forest. I sat at the lake afterward and read and relaxed for 2 hours. It was so peaceful. The only downside is quite a bit of foot traffic up there on the weekends.
