Browns Park Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Browns Park is tucked away in some woods on a side creek that feeds into the Laramie. If you want to get away from the people who are trying to get away from it all, come here. This pretty little campground is adjacent to the woods and lakes of the Rawah Wilderness, which covers a stretch of the Medicine Bow Mountains.

You can hike and fish here, or just take it easy. Browns Park is great for relaxation. Summer afternoons are as slow as molasses."

Very beautiful spot. The road is a bit steep but our Outback made it fine. The only negative was just about the worst mosquitos I've encountered out west. We originally had planned on staying 2 nights but they drove us out early. We'd still love to go back, but plan as if you're camping in Minnesota.
