Boyd Lake

Boyd Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This 1,800-acre reservoir is located in the gently rolling hills on the northeast outskirts of Loveland.

Stocked with 24,000 10-inch rainbow trout in 2000, Boyd Lake also has a decent holdover population of rainbows in the 3- to 5-pound range. Lures, bait, and flies all work well on these stockers. However, the real attractions of Boyd Lake are the white bass and walleye.

Key Species: Rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, white bass, walleye, yellow perch."
