Timber Creek Campground

Timber Creek Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Timber Creek lies in a wooded flat alongside the headwaters of the Colorado River. Trail Ridge Road forms the other boundary. Lodgepole pine is the primary tree here. Pine needles and an occasional rock form the understory.

There are several beaver ponds off in the meadow toward the river. Other wildlife, notably moose and elk, have been known to wander through the campground. Ranger programs are held every night during the summer from mid-June to Labor Day."
