Mirror Lake

Mirror Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"After you reach the somewhat remote trailhead in the less-visited northwest corner of the national park, the path to this lovely lake is very pleasant. Mirror Lake competes with Bridal Veil Falls for the title of most trite name for a hiking destination. Fortunately, this triteness certainly does not extend to the destinations themselves, which are exceptionally wonderful.

Mirror Lake is somewhat remote, on the northwest boundary of the national park. Remoteness is due to a long drive from the hiking hub of Estes Park to the Corral Creek Trailhead in Roosevelt National Forest. The trail itself is a moderate
7.1 miles, with just over 1,000 feet of elevation gain (much of it within a mile), a typically lovely lake hike to fill a summer day. The Mummy Pass Trail (named for a feature beyond Mirror Lake) begins as a stroll on an old road along Corral Creek."
