Adams Falls Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A gentle trail leads to a misty falls within a spectacular defile. The easy walk to Adams Falls rises gradually
amid lodgepole pines and glacially deposited boulders.

Adams Falls is within a gorge that evidently follows a geologic crack formed during the uplift of the Rockies and
subsequently altered by glacial scouring and water erosion."

A great little family hike! The falls are gorgeous. You can also continue your hike along the falls for a wonderful view of the lake and mountains!

Great kids hike. We took our two-year-old who enjoyed the climb. He loved climbing around on the rocks. The views of the falls are OK. They have a nice viewing area, though the best view are probably off the trail, which I didn't attempt (with a kid).

Easy for kids. Nice scenery. Falls are interesting and not typical. Definitely worth the hike.

A little crowded on a Saturday.
