Lime and Cascade Creeks Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Lime Creek’s headwaters are in the basin below 10,900-foot Molas Pass south of Silverton, where three alpine tributaries join in a rugged canyon below a 10-mile historic mining road. Six miles downstream, Lime Creek joins Cascade Creek, and they flow 2 miles through a rugged, remote canyon into the Animas River. Key Species: Rainbow trout, brown trout, brook trout, cutthroat trout.

Terrain and water conditions at each site are described in this section. Due to the length and changing nature of many Colorado rivers, some are detailed in multiple sections.
Tips: This section contains specific information related to successful fishing techniques, safety, and other related material."
