Peak View, Elk Meadow, and Livery Loop

Peak View, Elk Meadow, & Livery Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This trail (#19) is near a campground popular for its great views of the western slopes of Pikes Peak. The easy-to-locate, well-marked trailhead features a nice, open, out-and-back trail that heads downhill to the east outbound and uphill and west on the return as do most of the trails in Mueller State Park."

We started at Peak View #19 headed north on Elk Meadow #18, West to @17 Cheesman Ranch, North on Moonshine #36, West to Buffalo Rock #33, South on #34 Cahill Pond and then traveled the Road through the campground back to Peak View Trail Head.

We had a great day even though we hoped to see some Elk today we were happy to have seen the Mule Deer at the beginning of the hike. :)
