Longhorn to Belcher Hill Loop

Longhorn to Belcher Hill Loop Professional Review and Guide

"This loop is a continuation of Longhorn to Shorthorn Loop, finishing the climb up Longhorn to the big meadow at the top before the long and steep descent back down. Follow the run description for the Longhorn to Shorthorn Loop, but at the Longhorn/Shorthorn junction (mile 2.6), instead of turning onto the Shorthorn Trail, continue climbing up the Longhorn Trail. From the junction, the Longhorn Trail crosses a small seasonal stream as it switchbacks through another gulch, before beginning a short but steep climb. At mile 3.1 the Maverick Trail branches off to the left; continue on the Longhorn Trail as you reach the eastern side of the large meadow."
