Hine Lake

Hine Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This 50-acre, 20-foot deep suburban lake is bordered by a hiking trail, condos, and a tennis court and just happens to have lunker largemouth bass and oodles of panfish. Key Species: Largemouth bass, panfish.

This “secret spot” has big bass, which congregate around the artificial habitat created by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Work the weed beds and structures in the evening with Hula poppers and popping bugs on top and weighted rubber worms down in the water. Worm-tipped spinners or weighted live minnows can also land a few of these bass, as well as the numerous varieties of panfish."
