Denver to Golden Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Although not exactly like a hot knife through butter, on this route you’ll be able to cut through multiple layers of Denver and finally break free before arriving in Golden, in the shadow of the Coors plant. Golden is like a different world. See the brewery, have a bite to eat, and ride home—or rev up and make a run at Lookout Mountain.
There are other ways to get to Golden from downtown Denver, but none so direct; see the West Denver Path Loop for a much longer all-path route along Clear Creek. This route is easy to follow once you get out of central Denver. Basically, from
downtown you cross the highway (I-25) on the bike-ped bridge and head straight up the hill on 16th, which curves to the right and runs smack into 32nd at the first stoplight."
