Ivy Creek Trail to the Continental Divide

Ivy Creek Trail to the Continental Divide Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Hike this trail, and you’ll find wildflowers and wildlife (including the possibility of seeing moose, pikas, and boreal toads), the shortest and quickest access to Goose Lake, and impressive views near South River Peak and the Continental Divide.

Ivy Creek Trail 805 begins among the trees and continues along the creek, climbing moderately to 0.4 mile, where you enter the wilderness. You’ll cross Ivy Creek after 0.8 mile and skirt a meadow before entering the trees again and crossing a forested side slope. At 4 miles you’ll have to ford Ivy Creek."
