Irish Canyon Campground

Irish Canyon Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Irish Canyon is for adventurous tent campers. It is off the beaten path and then some, in the extreme northwest corner of the state on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land. This is in the Browns Park area, where Butch Cassidy and his gang retreated to safety between heists at the turn of the 20th century.

At a place like Irish Canyon, you have to explore and make your own adventures. There are no rangers to tell you what to do or brochures laying out. It is wise to contact the BLM office in Craig for information to help you plan exactly what you want to do."
