North Cheyenne Canyon Loop Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This is a relatively short but very adventurous loop. While just 10 miles, this rough and gorgeous canyon-climbing ride is not for the faint of heart or weak of leg. North Cheyenne Canyon is one of the coolest and nastiest little climbs you’ll ever ride. Unfortunately, there are challenges along the way that could ruin the experience for some.
The road is crawling with tourists, picnickers, and dudes looking for places to dump bodies (only a slight exaggeration there). The pavement is so narrow that any car traffic gets bottled up behind a climbing bicyclist. Then, when you reach the top, the pavement disappears entirely, replaced by a moderately rough and sloshy gravel road that most road bikers will find difficult to navigate with skinny tires."
