Traveling the entire trail is 13.9 miles with a total elevation gain of 5,559 feet. The Mt. Missouri & Mt. Columbia parking is near the trailhead. There are also restrooms. The Windfield Cemetery (elevation 9,678 feet) grave yard can be seen along the trail. There are also camp sites along the trail.
