Smoky Hill Trail

Smoky Hill Trail is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Arapahoe County, Colorado. It is within Cherry Creek State Park. It is 1.8 miles long and begins at 5,585 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 3.5 miles with a total elevation gain of 304 feet. Near the trailhead there are shelters. Smoky Hill Group Picnic Site and another shelter, Beach (No Swim), Beach (No Swim), and another beach, the Dixon Grove, Swim Beach, Swim Beach, Dixon Grove, and East Boat Ramp (Cars Only) parkings, and Smoky Hill Group Picnic Site and another picnic site can be seen along the trail. There are also restroom and drinking water along the trail. Near the end of the trail is a wetland. This trail connects with the following: Smoky Hill (Alternate), Campground Trail and Parker Road Trail.
