12 Mile Trail is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Arapahoe County, Colorado. It is within Cherry Creek State Park and Wetlands Preserve. It is 2.7 miles long and begins at 5,585 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 4.6 miles with a total elevation gain of 177 feet. The Disabled, Parallel Parking, and Dog Off Leash Area parkings are near the trailhead. There is also a wetland. 12-Mile North and another parking can be seen along the trail. There are also a bbq, benches, a picnic site, a viewpoint, and a shelter along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Piney Creek Trail and Cherry Creek Dog Access.
