Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"No ski guidebook that features the Tenmile Range would be complete without mentioning “Drift Peak.” (The quotation marks indicate this is the summit’s informal name—you might not find it on maps.)The Northwest Face on “Drift” is arguably one of the most popular thirteener tours in the state.

The ease of access and bang for your buck steeps are the primary appeal of “Drift,” as the parking lot sits just off CO 91 and the Northwest Face holds numerous steep, aesthetic ski options. This is not a route to overlook if you’re searching for an easy tour to pop off a quick morning of steep corn skiing. “Drift” rises only 283 feet from its neighbor, Fletcher Mountain, so it is not considered a ranked peak."
