Sourdough Trail

Sourdough Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"An extremely popular trail, which has caused some erosion to occur. However, this trail is the perfect choice for a hot day due to its higher elevation and the fact that it is shaded by pine trees for the entire length of the run. Take pleasure in the cool temperatures and easy angle of ascent.

Grade: The angle of ascent is only four degrees on this out-and-back trail, but it appears much harder due to the rocky tread, which can be severe in places. Be sure to use your most stable running shoes for this trail, since there is a strong chance of turning an ankle."
