East Boulder Path Loop Professional Review and Guide
"A loop around east Boulder starting from the Valmont Bike Park. This route lacks significant climbing and stays primarily on concrete paths, with a taste of gravel and street riding. What do you do when you drop your kids off at the fancy new Valmont Bike Park? Rather than hanging around watching Junior fail to clear the double jumps, racking up shockingly huge medical bills (despite the “insurance” for 187 The Cottonwood Trail which you pay so dearly), live in ignorant bliss.Take the skinny-tire bike and go for a nice mellow path cruise, beginning and ending at the bike park. This ride provides an opportunity to tour some relatively obscure but very nice multiuse paths, paths that many Boulder locals don’t even know exist: the Wonderland Creek Trail, Cottonwood Trail, Elmer’s Two Mile Trail, and the Goose Creek Greenway Trail."
