Good, quick place to get to just outside of Boulder. Did this trail with surrounding trails combined so it made for a good long hike. Definitely easy with small up and downs and trails free of any boulders/stones. Completely exposed to sun so even at 9-11am it was quite warm. Good place for off-leash with the dog as there was foot/bike traffic but not an excessive amount. It is an area where the Boulder city green permit tag is supposed to be displayed with dog tags.

I have done this many times. Easy trail goes around a very beautiful valley with horses, pastoral! Bring water- hot in the summer- little shade but a lake for the doggies to swim. Go past Boulder Res. entrance. One of my faves by my house. You can make it longer by taking a spur to Sage or Cobalt up to a mesa. Nice views.
