Chapman Drive Professional Review and Guide
"This short loop is not really a road-bike ride at all. But if you’re enthusiastic, somewhat skilled, and at least a little bit weird, you can do it on your road bike and have a great time. Chapman Road sprouts from Boulder Canyon and zigzags up the back side of the iconic Flagstaff Mountain. The little dirt road was off -limits to the public for as long as I can remember, and there was widespread rejoicing when it was finally opened in 2013. The recently liberated route proved to be a fantastic recreational ride and a great little training ground for local racers, especially the cyclocrossers, the number of whom is growing rapidly."
