    Hallam Lake Loop Trail

Hallam Lake Loop Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Access to the trail is via the cottonwood-shaded lane just outside the ACES nature center. A wheelchair-accessible boardwalk takes hikers approximately 90 feet from the nature center across a marshy area and alongside Hallam Lake and several beaver ponds.

Here, kids like using binoculars (available at the nature center) to scan the waters in search of beavers or swans. Canada geese are likely to honk their annoyance at your presence. At about 100 feet a spur trail to the right leads to the path to the Bird of Prey House; stay left."
