Victoria Lake via Ruybalid Trailhead Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"The climb up to Ruybalid Lake is tough, but it provides the shortest access to Victoria Lake, which sits on a broad plateau to the west. Hike to this area, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a side trip to No Name Lake and the Valle Victoria Trail. Some of the areas on this trail can be boggy. Expect to get wet; waterproof hiking boots are best.
Begin hiking Ruybalid Trail 855, ascending the mostly steep grade past pines, firs, and aspens. Enter the wilderness in 0.2 mile. At 0.8 mile you’ll see a trail taking off to the south. If you look closely, you’ll see the word Falls written on a stump. It points the way to Rough Creek Falls, which is a mere 0.3 mile off the main trail."
