    "Finding the campground: From Yreka, drive north 8 miles on CA 263; turn west onto CA 96 and drive 5 miles.

    About the campground: On the banks of the Klamath River, with excellent river access. Steelhead and salmon fishing can be good in the winter months. A trail from the campground follows the river. A large day-use area offers horseshoe pits, volleyball, and an open-pit barbecue. Elevation 2,100 feet. Stay limit 14 days. Open May through October."
