White Wolf Campground

White Wolf Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"White Wolf Campground is full of tiny meadows and stands of lodgepole pines, and the Middle Tuolumne River flows through the campground, which is constructed beautifully: The sites are set among the pines and granite boulders, and each loop seems miles away from the others. The arrangement of the tables and sites creates a sense of spaciousness. The facilities are clean and well tended. This is slow, elegant camping.

Remember to get supplies in the western flatlands or in Mammoth Lakes on your way in from the east. Ice, beer, soda, and a decent, fast food–style hot breakfast and lunch menu are available in Tuolumne Meadows, Crane Flat, and White Wolf Lodge near White Wolf Campground (in the summer months only)."
