Valley Loop Trail

Valley Loop Trail is a hiking trail in Mariposa County, California. It is within Yosemite National Park. It is 17.0 miles long and begins at 3,946 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 0.2 miles with a total elevation gain of 27 feet. The Energy Boulder stone and the Gates of the Valley: El Capitan and Gates of the Valley: Glaciers at the Gate information boards are near the trailhead. There are also restroom, a viewpoint, and parkings. Trailhead Parking, Ahwahnee parking, and other parkings, the Backpackers Campground camp site, Backpacker's Restroom and other restroom, the Medical Clinic hospital, Valley View and another viewpoint, Columbia Boulder and another stone, and the Fern Spring can be seen along the trail. There are also an information guidepost, trees, woods, a bench, woods, and a waste basket along the trail. Near the end of the trail are restroom and meadows. This trail connects with the following: Bike Path, Spur at Devil's Elbow, Upper Yosemite Falls Trail, Old Big Oak Flat Road, Lower Yosemite Falls Trail, North Dome Gully Descent, Sentinel Bridge, Sunnyside Bench Descent Trail, Swan Slab Climber's Descent, North Valley Trail, Snow Creek Trail and Happy Isles.
