Mt. Hoffmann Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"Mount Hoffmann is one of Yosemite’s perfectly located gems. It lies at the geographic center of the park, so its 360-degree vista is centered on Yosemite’s summits. And it is close enough to Tioga Road—and the trail to May Lake—that it is an easily obtained summit. The final 50 feet to the summit do require a little scrambling, but the slope is not exposed. Take this walk anytime May Lake Road is open, except when a thunderstorm is threatening. Note that the spur road to May Lake often opens several weeks after Tioga Road."
